Hey guys!
Been busting my butt to get things done, but wanted to let you all know that the newest Monster Hunter Conquest story is on its way!
Here's a little preview from the current rough of;
Yielding to the Merman:
The
thing held her arms at her sides, impossibly strong, and finally she
could see through the haze of water that had coated her half closed
eyes.
There,
watching her from a mere foot away, was a creature she had never
seen. Humanoid, but entirely not human, all she could see was its
face. Large eyes that were all pupil, skin white as milk, it was
hairless and shiny all at once. The nostrils were almost hidden
slits, and when she wondered why, the bright red gills on its neck
fluttered like wings.
This
was the merman, she had no doubt.
Wildly,
Siena struggled, but the monster had a hold on her like iron. Crushed
against what was now, clearly, the cliff face behind her, she could
get no purchase with her legs in the water. Kicking out, she landed a
blow on something solid in the liquid below, but the merman didn't
seem harmed. Her muscles were exhausted, far more than they should
have been, her legs heavy where they dangled.
Instead,
it smiled, and she got a stomach clenching look at the jagged teeth
inside.
“Hello,
pretty thing,” he purred, his voice musical and sweet. It was
enough that it stunned her, her muscles going slack as she coughed,
her throat still on fire.
“You...
you can talk?”
Laughing,
a sound she never wanted to hear again, the merman tilted his head
and peered at her closely. “Of course. Is that surprising?”
I
never expect the monsters to talk. But
she scowled, her shock slowly replaced by a mixture of anger and
fear. “Let me go, release me!”
“You
don't want me to do that,” he frowned, giving her arms a gentle
squeeze. The contact made her tremble, but Siena shook her head, wet
hair flying around.
“I
said let me go, let me go right now!”
Coming Soon!
